Elton John bloody loves balls, doesn’t he? He’s very good at handling them too, squeezing two a year into his tight schedule. Following on from the summer’s white tie ball, Saturday saw his annual Grey Goose shindig, although Jaime Winstone read the invite as ‘goose bumps’ and turned up with her breasts on show, managing the remarkable feat of making several Hollyoaks cast-members look dignified in comparison.

You might’ve seen Kathleen Edwards supporting Bon Iver on his recent tour. Or, like us, you may have been going to see her play in unusual venues for the past few years and have been waiting in a state of near constant agitation for her new album Voyageur. Well you/we still have to wait till January 2012 for that. But she has released a 7″ only thingy of two tracks not on the new album, in collaboration with Bon Iver. The title track, Wapusk, she performed for us up in the balcony of Hammersmith Apollo. And we filmed it. As you can see.

X Factor 2011: Holy Moly meets Sophie Habibis – the latest to get voted off

Nooooooooo! Sophie Habibis has been booted off The X Factor. How could this have been allowed to happen? The only upside is we got to see her lovely face, first thing on Monday morning. She was a bit “sleepy”.
