Paris Hilton isn’t even involved with the big poop she took in the bathroom shes so rich. Anyone that thinks otherwise watches too much MTV and buys too many of those entertainment magazines. Does their life really have any impact on yours? No? Well you have your own life to live. Just go by some better smelling deodorant. Look you just killed 2 birds with one stone.

Depends on your definition of involved. For the most part, I am sure that they are just brought in through various stages of the perfume’s development to take a whiff and give their opinion. Ultimately, it is their name on the perfume so they surely get some sort of voice in the fragrance selection. It could be as simple as being brought in and selcting from a line-up of 6 fragrances.

Many times celebrities will be involved in some level on the development of their fragrances. They usually will tell the development lab what sorts of smells they like and will go through sniff tests of various essences. They might talk about what the celebrity is looking to acheive in the final product and then the company develops samples. The celebrity will usually get samples of the final product and select the ones they like. The leve of involvement really depends on the celebrity. People like Paris Hilton probably spend very little time on these things because they will put their name on just about anything for a buck. Honestly, she is a little stupid and I can’t see her sitting there for hours sniffing vials of fragrance to pick one she likes. But that might be why her fragrances smell so mundane and average.
But there are definately celebrities that do take an interest in what they develop and will take the time to get involved in the development of fragrances because they care about what they put their name on.
I get to experience this alot in my industry and you can often tell who spends the time and who doesn’t.
