@PhantomAct, Uma Thurman, last film I saw her in was Kill Bill vol.2. My brother told me not to bother with My Super Ex-girlfriend it was a let down (apparently the best part was when she throws the shark into his apartment – and that was in the trailer). Closest would be Milla Jovovich with the Resident Evil , but Angelina has done varied action (Tomb Raiders, Wanted, Salt, Mr and Mrs Smith) so she’s on top there. Even kicks more arse being a CG tiger in Kung Fu Panda then most action girls lol

@1983Dave1983 Yes, not a lot of them. Uma Thurman (Kill Bill)? But she’s been flopping bad lately, check out My Super Ex-Girlfriend. I don’t think she even likes action movies, last of her movie i saw was Prime and i didn’t even want to watch it after 30min. There was Charlize Theron in that action-comedy Hancock? But yeah, the Jolie has got herself a niche market.

@PhantomAct, we cool. I don’t think any actor/actress has a throne, I just have my favourite talents like the next person does. I can’t think of an action woman better than Angelina though. Not to my taste at least.

@1983Dave1983 lol dude, kudos for picking Girls Interripted, i luv that movie. Am not saying I won’t watch Salt or her future movies. Hell i’ll even listen to her voice in Kung Fu Panda 2. Just don’t sit her on a throne. In my opinion she’s an action-gal but she has yet to do something amazing. All she does is say pretentious shits and fuel gender wars when promoting her movies. Women should play action role b’coz they can not b’coz they should.

@PhantomAct, I know it’s not in the same cateogory as salt. You think she can’t act, when I was pointing out films she’s made where she shines! It’s about opinion, millions of people enjoy her action flms and her acting, fact. Yeah there’s a difference between winning and being nominated. Actors are always robbed. I think the same with Leonardo Dicaprio.

@1983Dave1983 I wonder what happened to those other movies: Wanted, Alexander, Mr & Mrs Smith, Tomb Raider 1,2 and Hackers… cheesy action shits? Also, there’s a difference between nominated & won. Girls Interrupted is like a decade old and not in same category as SALT!

@PhantomAct, you think Angelina can’t act ha. ‘Changeling’ – nominated for an oscar. ‘Girl, Interupted’ – won oscar. ‘A Mighty Heart’ – nominated for best actress. She acts how the director and film require her to, so depending on the film depends if she gets nominated. Oh and this “fake, fake, fake” means nothing. She does all her stunts up to what they’ll let her.

the salt movie was bad and she was bad acting in particular. the ending just cut of without a conclusion. i think next time i’ll just find her photo on internet and stare at her lips
