While i agree that P.Hilton is complete scum, why wouldn’t Americans be at the Cannes?. It is not for the French only, or merely art house. it is a *FESTIVAL* for directors & actors from across the world.
As for the americans who have “bombarded” the festival, they’ve been doing it by invitation for decades.
Obviously, France enjoys our directors & actors coming, because the Cannes jury have awarded the Palme D’Or prize to U.S. directors 15 times in 57 years (+38 to other foreigners)
