Dry your eyes Westlife fans, the band aren’t splitting up because they never existed in the first place and were just a series of increasingly elaborate PR fibs by manager Louis Walsh. At least, that’s what we took to be the subtext of fictional singer Shane Filan’s interview in Metro. We may have read it wrong.
