X Factor is over for another year. Little Mix won, Marcus came in second and Amelia Lily trundled into third. What this means for their careers is uncertain, X Factor being the random success generator that last year gave us a virulent and undeserved case of Cher Typhlloyd, while at the same time completely immunising the nation against Matt Cardleitis*. Most importantly though, it looks like this year could be the year Louis is finally hoiked out of his judging seat and sent off to the glue factory.
