Every year, the X Factor finalists churn out a god awful group cover in the name of charity, which is lovely, but a viscious attack on our ears and the original song all the same. In the past, they’ve taken a hit at Mariah Carey’s Hero, Michael Jackson’s You Are Not Alone and David Bowie’s Heroes. And because those choices just weren’t mundane enough, this year they’ve really gone all out on the zzz front, choosing to cover Rose Royce’s Wishing On A Star.
