Bit of rain fails to ease the drought

Indianapolis recorded rain Sunday for only the fourth time this month, but it was barely worth measuring. By 6 p.m., the National Weather Service at Indianapolis International Airport said the scattered sprinkles amounted to 0.14 of an inch, although the far-northern areas of the state got thunderstorms and Southern Indiana received steady rain.
