Assuming that Cheryl ‘Queen of Hearts’ Cole has now been firmly attached to America’s sizeable teat via the large and gropey hand of X Factor, we can now safely say that in the last few years we’ve exported some of the least inspiring people ever to have been born in our green and rapidly devaluing land. Robert Pattinson, Emma Watson, Daniel Radcliffe, Victoria Beckham, Russell Brand and now Cheryl Cole have all made it big in the US, and this is who American people will now be basing their opinions of us on. Not that it’s a major worry, but imagine if we based our opinions of America entirely on George Bush Jr. Imagine.

It’s going to be interesting when the last Harry Potter film comes out, to see whether Emma Watson will still be conducting interviews whenever a new thought enters her head.
