We’re getting used to being disappointed by Doctor Who episodes this year, but nothing prepared us for Nightmare In Silver. Only the prolonged and painful deaths of those two personality-free, moaning children would’ve redeemed it. Anyway, while we call Rentokill to get rid of the Cybermats, here’s the 50^th anniversary tribute film shown at the 2013 BAFTAs to remind you that you really do love this show and we’re just going through a temporary slump whereby even Neil Gaiman episode is terrible.

We still wish they’d kept the casting for the 50^th anniversary Doctor Who episode a secret. The excitement at having a two-Doctors episode has been muted by the knowledge that none of the other nine regenerations are going to show up. Or are they…? Anyway, here are a few lovely pics of David Tennant and Matt Smith filming together in Chepstow, Wales with some Roundheads. And we’ve bunged in some of Matt and Jenna doing TARDIS stunts in Trafalgar Square, earlier this month.
