We reached the climax of award season last night – it was the 85th Academy Awards. Who won? We can’t remember – Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter? We were too busy looking at the fashion faux pas…
Can you remember what the best film was at the 1999 Oscars? Of course you can’t, but you will remember that Gwynnie blurbed all over the podium in that terrible pink Ralph Lauren Gown. What about 2002? That was the year of the Alexander McQueen fiasco – also courtesy of Paltrow. Do you sense a theme here?
Obviously it’s not all down to Gwyneth – as you’ll see from our gallery, we’ve have award season fashion faux pas from everyone from Lady Gaga to Goldie Hawn. We thought we’d let Bjork swan around in it too, although we still salute her for making such a bold move (her clutch bag was an egg!).
