The Capital FM Summertime Ball isn’t much like a ball as far as we can see. Perhaps the ball is supposed to allude to the amount of fun people have when they’re there. Liek Olly Murs. Just look at the simle on his face. That’s probably why the young people like him. Because of his smiles. Can’t think of any other reason. Oh, maybe his hats. Yes, it’s probably his hats and his smiles.

It’s basically an open secret in the fashion world that Anna Wintour has no time for the Kardashians, and last year’s Met Ball was surrounded by rumours that Anna had actively banned Kim Kardashian from attending. This year, of course, it was a slightly different story: Kim attended as Kanye West’s plus-one because although Anna Wintour may be one of the most powerful people in fashion, even she might have a hard time banning the pregnant girlfriend of one of her BFFS.
