It’s the first track to be written in collaboration with Guy Chambers since they decided to be friends again. It’s a total psychotic mess. Hooray!

One Direction ban interviewers from asking boring questions

People often ask how we get away with asking pop people such absurd questions as “What’s the best thing you’ve ever found in a hedge?” The truth is, most of them are so bored by the usual drivel they have to pretend they haven’t answered a million times they’re very grateful for our nonsense. So our hearts are gladdened by the news that One Direction’s PR gave a US interviewer a list of things he wasn’t allowed to ask Zayn Malik, which read like a Top 10 of tired, clichéd, un-interesting questions. Unfortunately they were all the questions he was about to ask.

Public realises The Voice is boring as 3.8 million more watch the dancing dog on BGT

We have no vested interest in Britain’s Got Talent but we can’t help feel a glow of schadenfreudic satisfaction as The Voice hit a new ratings low, slipping to 6.9 million viewers at best, while BGT soared to 10.7 million this weekend. Especially when you consider that one of the favourites in Cowell’s talent circus is precisely the type of singer the Beeb’s warbling contest was supposed to find (they don’t judge on appearances, remember. Not like those other shows).
