After the trauma of her cousin Dipshit’s recent court case for fighting in a petrol station you would have thought Tulisa Contrabambobulous’ friends and family would have learned their lesson and tried their very best to avoid any violent encounter in case they too were sentenced to 80 minutes hard labour. Except her famous footballer boyfriend Danny Simpson of course. The only rules he plays by are his own, and even then, rarely. If he wants to fight, he’ll fight.

Which probably goes a long way to explaining the video The Sun have managed to get their hands on which shows Danny unconscious outside a Manchester takeaway on Sunday morning at 4am after being involved in a brawl in which he punched a man before then being punched himself, straight to sleepytown. Making a video of it seems like a bit of a weird thing to do given that he was unconscious and bleeding from the mouth, but still, that’s just society today eh readers? Too many directors and not enough actors, are we right?

According to witnesses, the scuffle started when Simpson walked into a takeaway talking loudly about how proud he was to be able to take part in a the nation’s favourite sport, and how humbled he was to be able to play at such a high level for such reasonable wages. Someone else in the restaurant for some reason took exception to this and the two ended up having a disagreement, which unfortunately ended with Simpson punching his debate partner to the floor.

At this point some of the other customers, worried for talented sportsman’s safety, forcefully removed him from the takeaway and tried to get him into a taxi so that he could go home and recuperate. Unfortunately, another bystander decided that he still hadn’t finished the discussion and decided to pull Danny back out of the cab and then proceeded to punch the footballer so hard he fell to the ground unconscious. Which is when the below video was taken. WARNING. BLOOD.

Don’t worry about Danny though, despite allegedly going down after only one punch, he’s actually made of tough stuff and according to his spokesperson is back training with his team today.

In the meantime we can only hope Tulisa is ok. Poor Tulisa. So. Much. Violence. If only there’s some way she could have guessed something like this might happen.
