Remember V V Brown? Possibly not. Vanessa was touted as the next big thing back in 2009. Her debut album didn’t do all that well over here but she was surprisingly big in France and the US. You most probably remember her best for the M&S adverts. We remember her best for living on the same road as us. We used to get the bus to work with her sister. They were both lovely. Imagine living next to Chris Brown. Just imagine. Now add to that horror the totally shit graffiti he’s covered his fence and walls with. Because even though he now lives in the Hollywood Hills, it’s important to remember he comes from the streets. And by streets we mean a small town in Virginia. Christopher has told his neighbours to “get a fucking life” after they complained about his shitty goblins, insisting he’s going to “paint until my hands fall off”. Which would make it more difficult for him to beat up women, of course.

So the wedding we were dreading is off. Chris Brown has announced, in his own sweet way, that he and Rihanna are no longer destined to be the Ike & Tina Turner of sub-standard contemporary R&B.
