The Saturdays have released the music video for their new song ‘Gentleman’. The song isn’t very good. We give it 2/10 because they forgot to include a melody in the chorus. And the video isn’t much better, despite the fact they dress up as gentlemen (LIKE THE SONG TITLE) and play about on the set of Desperate Housewives.

We’re in two minds about the upcoming release of Baz Luhrmann’s adaptation of The Great Gatsby. On one hand, the trailer has made it look like a riproaring lavish affair that will delight the eye. On the other hand, The Great Gatsby is one of our favourite books, and we’re a bit concerned about how Baz has treated it. Yes, he made Romeo & Juliet, but he also made Moulin Rouge.

Sometimes you start working on a feature and by the time you realise what a pointless waste of time it is, it’s too late. You just have to see it through. We’re not saying this is one of those occasions, but… Here’s Tom Fletcher from McFly and his other half Giovanna out and about in Manchester dressed as mattresses. We couldn’t find a mattress that looked exactly like her shirt. The whole thing was much better in our heads than it is in reality.
