What Celebrities Are Doing

It’s a well known fact that Jason Statham is the strongest man in Britain today. Sadly, even his strength OF CHARACTER couldn’t pull in the crowds to the premiere of his new here’s-a-crime-that-can-be-solved-by-kicking-someone-in-the-neck film, Hummingbird. As it happens, we actually like everything Jason Statham does (he’s basically what Ross Kemp is like in his own head) but it seems like that’s simply not enough for celebs these days, and only Chelsee Healey and that one from the Made In Chelsea turned up last night. There’s a possibility Jason Flemyng is also there to support his  punchy pal, but we suspect he’s in the film, so it doesn’t really count. 

And finally, as if to rub it all in, a lady showed up in a lab coat.

SHAME ON YOU ALL. HE’S A NATIONAL TREASURE (who admittedly lives in LA, but that’s not the point).

Amongst critics and those with critical leanings there’s a received opinion that Disney Pixar’s films are simply not as good as they used to be. Since it’s only been three years since the immaculate Toy Story 3, it does seem to be a premature judgment based solely on Cars 2 having a weak (and illogical) story and Brave having an abrupt and predictable ending. But the company did set the bar almost unreachably high for themselves. How can they possibly match their defining 2001 comedy Monsters Inc. with a prequel? Well, they haven’t. They’ve bettered it.
