Charlie Sheen was back on Letterman again on Sunday night, talking about how that meltdown he had a couple of years ago wasn’t actually the meltdown that everyone thought it was. You and I thought it was all happening because he was taking too many drugs and drinking too much booze and sleeping with too many hookers. In fact it was simply a case of his brain betraying him after he stopped enjoying all those drugs, boozes and hookers…

“Here’s the confusing part. I wish it was crack cocaine. I wish it was an ocean of vodka, a bathtub full of pills. It was just my brain was kind of separated into itself. I just had to take a stand for what I know was right,”

“I’m sure it looked like I was going to spontaneously combust at any moment. It was an adrenal ride. I think it was mostly fueled by anger.”

And booze, and drugs.
