Given that her solo album limped spectacularly to number 35 in the charts, and her general demeanour on the X Factor is best described as “a bit shit, though, yeah?” we were pretty gobsmacked to hear the news that, despite all reports to the contrary, Tulisa Contostavlos actually hasn’t been axed from the X Factor. It would seem that she has been saved from the dole queue by virtue of Nicole Scherzinger declining the chance to return to the show, as she wants to work on her album.
