There seems to be some confusion as to why there’s controversy surrounding the Fifty Shades of Grey books. Let us be quite clear, the reason we looked at you with disgust on the Tube earlier, as you proudly turned the pages of one of EL James’ books about shagging (written in the style of someone who sounds like they won’t even shake hands with the lights on) isn’t because we think you’re dirty for reading a book in which a woman describes her vagina as “my sex” but because we think you’re an idiot for reading a book in which a woman describes her vagina as “my sex”. And now there’s an album of all the classical music that’s absurdly mentioned throughout the dreadful trilogy. So you can buy that too.
