We’d really like to think Ke$ha is genuinely as mental as she seems. It makes her kind of likeable. Having sex with ghosts, cleaning her teeth with booze, making clothes out of teeth; all these are things that make her seem fun.

On the other hand, there’s a possibility it’s all just bullshit. Judging by her recent interview with Now magazine however, she certainly seems to be who she says she is. It’d be exhausting trying to make all this nonsensical crap up otherwise:

‘Me and Johnny Depp had eyeball sex at the benefit concert for Superstorm Sandy in LA,’ said the C’Mon singer. We never really talked – we just had eyeball sex. If men in music talk about sex, girls, strippers and partying, then why can’t I? Just because I’m a woman, it doesn’t make me a drunk or a slut,’

She then went on to talk about her love of the British:

“Oh yeah, [I've dated] very many! I’m kind of a sucker for you guys. It’s the accent. I’m kind of a sucker for you guys. It’s the accent. Harry Styles is pretty cute – he looks like a young Mick Jagger.”

Except for the songwriting bit.
