What Celebrities Are Doing

Despite the fact yesterday was April Fools, we’re still not entirely sure Lindsay Lohan was joking when she put the following message on Twitter:

Either way, the internet is furious about it. Furious. Having said that, she’s on her way to rehab, which would be the perfect place to have a child. Based on the fact this is almost certainly horseshit however, it’s probably a little to early to call her a bad mother, but still. Bad mother.

Anyway, here’s a clip from her 2009 film Labor Pains which strangely describes her current situation almost perfectly. Weird it was only four years ago that she still looked hot as hell, isn’t it?

Kevin Smith (have a look here if you don’t know who he is) has been saying publicly for quite some time what a hugely unpleasant man Bruce Willis was to work with ever since the two of them made the unflushable turd that was Cop Out. 

In the video above he says that it wasn’t just him that Willis supposedly disliked, it was the whole world. He even wrote in his autobiography about how much of a disappointment meeting Willis had been:

“Where was the happy-go-lucky charmer who made Maddie Hayes fall so madly in love? There were no staff limbo parties like there’d been at the Blue Moon Detective Agency whenever Bruce was around. The singing pitchman who made me believe that Seagram’s Wine Coolers were a manly enough spirit to chug at a high school kegger? He turned out to be the unhappiest, most bitter, and meanest emo-bitch I’ve ever met at any job I’ve held down. And mind you, I’ve worked at Domino’s Pizza.”

But, for the first time since he worked with Smith on Cop Out, Bruce has replied to Smith’s claims. Unfortunately it’s not with the vitriol we might have liked:

“Poor Kevin. He’s just a whiner, you know? We had some personal issues about how we approached work and he takes a very different path to creativity. I don’t have an answer for him. I’m never going to call him out and lay him out in public. Sometimes you just don’t get along.”

Which is a shame. But then again, being called a whiner by Bruce Willis is still much worse than being called an emo by Kevin Smith.

It’s also worth having a look at the following video of an interview with Willis only a couple of days ago in which he seems to be fairly easy going, almost to the point of being asleep. Apparently it was because he was jetlagged…

When you see actors and actresses (aside from Mickey Rourke) being interviewed and they say things about their co-stars like ‘Yeah, that guy’s such a dick and he punches like a girl’, you tend to assume they’re joking, and in fact they’re actually both the best of friends.

With the absolutely shocking rumours doing the rounds that Kelly Rowland probably won’t be returning to The X Factor, we’re surprised at the lack of celebrities carping on about how it’s their ‘dream job’ etc, etc, ad nauseum. Not as surprised as we were, though, when Noel Gallagher appeared to throw his hat into the ring.

Does anyone even think of Lindsay Lohan as an actor anymore? Or even an actress? Apparently actor is the universal term for both sexes now. As usual we were the last to be told. Anyway, aside from her court appearances, which we have to say we’ve found slightly unconvincing, can you actually remember seeing her in a film? Machete doesn’t count, since she wasn’t really acting in it.

No? Neither can we. Oh well, she’s a full time petty criminal now, so there’s no need to worry.
