The second Thor film, called The Dark World, has debuted its first trailer and it’s looking a little underwhelming, we have to say. Aside from the huge spaceships and Anthony Hopkin’s voiceover, there’s not a huge amount to insipre us (compared to the recent Superman trailer anyway). Aside from perhaps the bit where London gets destroyed (nice to see the capital being damaged by something other than the sterotypical gaping hole in the Thames), at any rate.

Having said that, it’s directed by Alan Taylor, the man resposible for Game of Thrones, and if the film turn out to be anywhere near as solid as GoT, he’s onto a winner.

It was the London Marathon yesterday, which means that a bunch of people ran through the streets of London in vests and funny costumes. It also means that Annoying Dave from Accounts will finally stop coming round every five minutes asking you to sponsor him. Mind, he’ll also spend the next six months trying to crow-bar “when I ran the MARATHON” into every conversation, so there’s that.
