Ashlee Simpson-Wentz was spotted out and about this afternoon. The singer was snapped as she left Kev Paves’ salon after attending a “makeover madness rally” to help kids with cancer. Ashlee tweeted from the event:

come check the makeover madness rally for kids with cancer at the Ken Paves Salon today! I’m here and its fab!

We haven’t seen much of Ashlee since she finished up her Broadway run of “Chicago” and went back home to Cali. I have to say that it IS nice to see her in a color other than black. What do you think of her look? Everyone seems to be loving the headbands. Do you like them? Or could you do without this fashion trend?

Some exciting changes are underway for season 2 of Jessica Simpson’s reality/documentary show ‘The Price of Beauty’. According to sources close to the project, they show will focus more on makeovers and image than on Jessica traveling the globe. According to Us magazine:

A VH1 spokesperson said, “We are here to stay with Jessica and are committed to this journey and this message with her about women, self image, etc… all through Jessica’s totally unique and unfiltered lens. We are really excited about the next step, which we will announce soon and will air on VH1 in 2011.”

Did you watch Jessica’s show? Do you think it will have the same feel if she’s not traveling around to learn about the differences in beauty rituals, etc. in different cultures?
