We almost managed to go a whole week without a spot of unintenional nakedness. A whole week without one single breast or labia slipping the reins and making a bid for freedom. But then Nicki Minaj, a woman who likes to shock her audience at the best of times, just had to go and ruin it, brazenly displaying her left areola on Good Morning America like it was a naughty child trying to escape its cot. A cot made of horrible neon pleather.

We distinctly remember there being an ice cream when we were kids that looked exactly like the jumpsuit that Nicki Minaj is wearing in these pictures, from her recent gig in Florida. It wasn’t particularly pleasant tasting and must have had more e numbers in it than a truck of blue M&M’s, but for some reason we’ve remembered it. A bit like Game On, in a way.

If we’re totally honest here, we don’t know that much about Nicki Minaj. Our only story about her to this day was primarily about the size of her arse, which, although a handy asset, doesn’t really say much for her. We’re assuming she’s just the next in a long line of quirky female popstars to emerge from the US in recent years, which is probably why Simon Cowell is keen to snap her up for the US version of the X Factor. The majority of the population will be fans of her work, while around 3% will have a clue who Cheryl Cole is and around 1% able to understand a word she says.
