London last night was a real cunt-souper. The two people you’d least like to be sandwiched between on a long-haul flight – Rita Ora and Cara Delevingne decided they should attend the birthday bash of “party organiser” Fran Cutler at The Box in Soho.  Not just them. Two Geldofs, Kate Moss and her wide-eyed husband Jamie Hince, Sadie Frost, Rhys Ifans, Stella McCartney, Meg Matthews and Noel Fielding made it a veritable Live Aid of liggers. Sad to have missed it.

The best thing about Nick Grimshaw being friends with the whole wide world is that he was able to drag them all in at the arse-crack of dawn for his Radio 1 Breakfast Show to help raise LOADS for the ongoing Red Nose Day challenges – hooray, the perks of being the nicest man in showbiz just don’t stop.

So, calling into the studio, he had Lily Cooper, David Walliams, Jessie J, Little Mix, Union J, Vanessa Feltz and only blimmin well Mossy, who read a passage from 50 Shades of Grey live on air without once slipping in ‘get the Landan look’ while the rest of the Grimmy gang did a variety of lolsome activities such as the ‘cinnamon challenge’ (don’t try it at home, kids). Ace stuff. We’ve also got one of the last pics taken of Jessie J before her hair gets the chop in aid of the event. No wonder she did such a nice job of brushing it. Talking of faces – and outfits – for more than just radio, we’d donate a rather hefty sum to the cause if Moss would be willing to part with that jumpsuit…?

Ta-dahhhhhhh! It’s only bladdy Kate Moss walking in the Louis Vuitton show, effectively closing Paris Fashion Week. Obviously she looks incredible, showing that after 25 years, she’s still basically the best. Bravo to Marc Jacobs for curating a great collection and a great show: Kate Moss in a Sally Bowles wig and a Gatsby gown might just be the enduring image of the whole of Paris Fashion Week.

The problem with the Chinese New Year is it isn’t till Sunday, February 10 and not last night (Monday 4), when any self-respecting celeb likes to go out and get pissed in unlikely company. Kate Moss has solved this by celebrating the year of the snake early, with her BFFs Tom Jones and Sarah “Fergie” Ferguson. Oh to have been a fly in their soup. Jools Holland was there too (there being David Tang’s posh restaurant China Tang) but that seems like over-egging the pudding. It’s the kind of night out we can only dream about.

There’s definitely not enough bush in nudey shoots nowadays, so well done to LOVE magazine for getting Kate Moss to grow her short and curlies here. Pubic hair ain’t no crime, man…

The shoot was by Tim Walker, who’s just had a lovely exhibition at London’s Somerset House. Here’s what he had to say about it:

“I’d read a book called The Magic Toyshop by Angela Carter which has the most tender description of a young girl discovering her sexuality.

“This prompted the idea of telling a story through photographing the female nude from a feminine point of view – which required the subject, Kate, to involve herself totally with the text and relate to the sensitivity through her own imagination and posture, which I think she did really very well. Kate had a part to play for the camera, which is something she excels at.”
