What Celebrities Are Doing

We saw someone on a motorbike get hit by a car a little while ago, and found ourselves hugely disappointed after leaving the scene of the accident without having had a single epiphany. He managed to brush it off and got back on his bike though, so maybe it wasn’t violent enough. Perhaps our epiphanies must be accompanied by a torrent of blood and pain. Hope not. Sounds awful.

Having said that, Ryan Gosling had his life changing experience after watching a nasty bike accident as a child, so maybe our problem is that we’re just not attractive enough.

“I was just a kid walking to school when I saw this guy get hit, and this motorcycle guy was there just lying in the middle of the street. I went up to him and he had blood coming from behind his head.”

My first thought was: I’ve got to get a motorcycle. There’s something messed up with my brain. I then got a paper route and saved up and got a [motor]bike when I was about 12 years old. I sat with it out in the yard for about a year just pretending I was riding it.”

The quote comes from a recent interview the hansome actor gave to The Telegraph in which he also said that he seems to be so adorable people couldn’t help but smile when he tried to rob a bank. Oh Ryan.

We’ve already shown you a few stills from this Chanel advert featuring Keira Knightley on a motorbike. The general response seemed to be that it was overwhelmingly bland and pointless, so here’s another teaser. This time however, it’s a video, so perhaps that’ll change your mind. Unlikely, since Keira’s voice, along with Emma Watson’s, tends to evoke a basic, primeval fear in us, like when you hear a recording of a parrot saying your name.

Also, take a look at some of the Youtube comments if you get a second. It seems like we may all be kindred spirits here on the internet after all.

As we reported last week exclusively for users of our SonyEricsson app, Paris Hilton has started up her own motorbike racing team. Now, of course we could just go on about what a terrible, terrible idea it is to have anyone like Paris on or even near a motorbike, but we won’t, because it’s almost Christmas.

Instead we’ll just show you a fine selection of the fatuous heiress at the launch of the SuperMartXé VIP in Madrid. She’s showing the usual amount of flesh, class and self-awareness, plus, this time she’s on a motorbike. It’s like a dream come true.
