It’s not true that London’s nearly-famous canapé consumers will go to the opening of an envelope. If you want, for some inexplicable reason, Henry Conway or Bo Bruce to come to your watch shop’s birthday party (wake us up when the revolution happens) you’re going to need to offer an incentive. Like, say, the goody bag that probably has a watch in it that the likes of Zoe Hardman, Jessica Lowndes, David Hay, Lianne La Havas, Leah & Natt Weller and various other people wearing clothes they’ve borrowed went home with after last night’s Casio Store 1st birthday party.

It was Keith Lemon/Leigh Francis/Avid Merrion’s 40th birthday fancy dress party over the weekend. As you’d expect from the description, almost everyone came in fancy dress including Jodie Marsh who, for the first time ever, actually covered herself up to go to an event. She was joined by three of the Spice Girls, Fearne Cotton and Joe Swash.
Special mention must go to Bianca Gascoigne, who seemingly went as an expensive lady of the night. Imaginative isn’t the word.
