Here’s Russell Brand visiting a tattoo parlour in  Los Angeles. Is calling a tattoo parlour a ‘tattoo parlour’ a bit like calling a work’s man outfit and ‘work man’s outfit’? Perhaps people who visit ‘tattoo parlours’ are the ones who call tattoos ‘tats’ and talk about getting ‘inked up’? Anyway, this tattoo establishment doesn’t look especially savoury to us, but we doubt Brand was there long. We actually suspect – and this is purely speculation, you understand? – he was there to talk to a man about getting his Katy Perry tattoo scribbled over. It’s not her name – if it was, he could change it to ‘Raty Berry’, it’s some kind of matching spiritual typography they got which probably reads ‘these two won’t last – I’m a pretend monk and even I know that’.

Katy Perry and Zooey Deschanel don’t really look that similar, although they’re both, like totally kooky and have hair, legs and a face, so it’s quite easy to compare them. If a man had a ‘type’, he might like both of them.  Or if a man was a sex addict and had no ‘type’, he might also like both of them.

Here’s Katy Perry bravely stepping out in Las Vegas, the place where she held her bachelorette party a little over a year ago. Oh the memories it must hold. Luckily she’s got the support of this great bunch of kindred souls. Look at Paris Hilton, being so loving and attentive despite the fact that Vegas holds some strong memories for herself too – like that time she got arrested for drug possession. Eat your heart out Russell. You could’ve been there too, you hear that!

Despite what every make-over montage sequence in any rom-com suggests, it’s not a good idea to get a new look immediately after a break-up. Although it’s (hopefully) unlikely that any long-term relationship would break-down over bad hair, a new ‘do’ will probably still confirm the dumper’s decision that you weren’t very good together.
