What Celebrities Are Doing

A few weeks ago, Sarah Harding made it very clear that she would quite like a seat on the X Factor judging panel, saying she’d “definitely” consider it, and that she’d “love to be a mentor”. Obviously while she was making these pointed, hopeful comments, we knew full well she wouldn’t land X Factor. We could see why she thought she might, but we could also see that it would never happen.

Oooof oooof oooooooooof, here’s Tom Hardy camping out in the COLDEST PLACE ON EARTH just because he can. Actually, it seems to be some kind of advertorial for dirty Shell oil, but ignore that bit and concentrate on Tom’s sexy icicle beard. In the below clip he blows a bubble which freezes solid and chucks some boiling water in the air which transforms to snow because the temperature is minus 60. He says he’s lucky his fingers haven’t snapped off. And the rest.

Someone really needs to give Tom a science telly show so he can teach the kids about molecules and staying off crack. They’d listen to him. 

Apparently the show goes out on Discovery in the US on 13 March.

Cross your legs and smother those squeals, ladies – here’s Ryan Gosling in the new The Place Beyond The Pines poster. Albeit with a rather off-putting dye job, facial tattoo and real life girlfriend, but STILL – it’s Ryan Gosling, ladies!

Unlike in Gangster Squad where Gosling can largely be seen flexing his muscles and winking at the camera, the director of The Place Beyond The Pines seems to have focused on the actor’s more frequently seen ‘sexy intense mumbling nutter who’s not quite as much of an intense mumbling nutter as Tom Hardy’ side, having previously worked with him on Blue Valentine, where Gosling wasn’t really a sexy intense mumbling nutter so much as a Terry Richardson lookalike who made us all feel a bit depressed about dating.

Anyway, if you look at the trailer below, you’ll see that the film looks a bit like Drive in that there’s some robbing and driving – and also the aforementioned mumbling. Our favourite line is “who’s that guy?”. Oh Ryan, it’s your baby – the little baby you had with Eva Mendes. If you’re going to be that much of a cad, we might suggest her running off with Bradley Cooper.
