What Celebrities Are Doing

Just yesterday we pondered how many premieres a blockbuster movie needs, as Star Trek Into Darkness had its fifty millionth premiere, but we’re not asking that about this Great Gatsby premiere. For one thing, it’s at Cannes, which is Kind Of A Big Deal, and for another thing, David Hasselhoff’s there. Nuff said.

For the past eleven hundred years, there has been a premiere of Star Trek Into Darkness every single day, somewhere in the world. At least, that’s how it feels. In reality there’s probably only been about thirty or ninety premieres. And here’s a bunch of pictures from the latest one, which was last night in LA. Leonard Nimoy was there! That’s probably why they had another one, so Leonard could come and hang out. Why not, eh?

We have a difficult relationship with fans of boybands. We used to be ok with the McFly fans but then one of us said an album they made wasn’t very good and it all kicked off. The Wanted’s fans despise us but that’s ok because The Wanted are toilet. So we want to state now that unless Union J make a truly terrible record or say something very wrong then HOLY MOLY OFFICIALLY ENDORSES UNION J.

For a lot of films, it’s the Hollywood premiere that matters most, but surely for The Great Gatsby, the New York premiere is the most important. Unless they can wing a premiere right on Long Island?
