What Celebrities Are Doing

Not a huge amount of explanation needed for this amazing quote, so we’ve stuck a gallery in for you to have a browse through while you mull it over. One thing that struck us while we made the gallery was that she’s very pretty, isn’t she? Ok, so she always has been, we just forgot, hence the famous phrase ‘…but what about Gemma Arterton?’.

Anyway, suffice to say the quote comes from an interview Gemma Arterton gave to Graham Norton on his show, which airs tonight:

“I was in one of those ATM cash machine rooms and there was a tramp in there. He kept looking at me and then he grabbed my bum really hard. I turned round and properly punched him in the face. I then realised I’d punched a tramp in the face so I ran. Thank god he didn’t punch me back. I actually felt quite bad about it.”

Terrible, but at the same time, brilliant.

As we reported yesterday, Lindsay Lohan was arrested in New York for punching a woman in a nightclub. Understandably, none of you were that bothered. We suspect that’s because you’re concerned about her and you know the only way Lindsay’s going to avoid a tragic drug or booze related death in the next few years is by finding God in prison. But what we didn’t tell you yesterday was why. Which is the fascinating bit.

Ok so ‘fascinating’ might be stretching it a bit, but we can say that Max from The Wanted (engaged to Michelle Keegan, serial sexter) was involved, along with a well known US psychic called Tiffany Mitchell and the boy who’s confusing paedophiles everywhere, Justin Bieber.

The story goes that on the day of the crime Lindsay went to a Justin Bieber concert where she saw The Wanted supporting him and decided to try and get backstage to speak to them. Unfortunately for her, since she’s known to all bouncers everywhere,she was denied entry, and so instead she decided to meet the band at a hotel bar. Which she did.

At this point she was already four our five sheets to the wind, and by the time they had left the hotel and reached a club an equally drunk Max George, seemingly the biggest knob in a band made up entirely of knobs, had supposedly had enough of Lindsay’s boozing and so decided to hit on someone else. The person he hit on was reknowned psychic, Tiffany. Perhaps she gets her powers from drinking.

Tiffany, unaware of what was going on between Max and Lindsay, went up to Lindsay to ask for a photograph and to tell the Herbie: Fully Loaded star that she’d had a premonition about her. Strangely, despite such a lovely offer, it was at this point that Lindsay apparently turned all her drunken rage on Psychic Tiffany, calling her a ‘fucking Gypsy’ and clocking her round the chops, which Tiffany apparently didn’t see coming. As you can imagine, Lohan was then arrested for assault shortly after.

Here’s the statement made by Tiffany and her husband in the aftermath hof the event. The last bit is the best bit….

“We are not Gypsies. That has nothing to do with our religion … it was a racist comment.”

“Just because your career went down the drain and your new movie sucks, you can’t go around beating people up.”

So true.
