Ahhh, The Big Reunion! That show that indulges past-it pop stars in their delusions of still-being-relevant, and gives them a reason to leave the house. Blue and B*Witched and Atomic Kitten and Liberty X and 5ive and the Honeyz and 911, all reminding us just how awful the 90s and early 2000s were. It’s a depressing show that requires you to drink at least four large glasses of Shiraz just to tolerate it, and then of course you’re so drunk you end up just crying and crying.

Big Reunion: All Saints & Eternal turn down offer to embarrass themselves for scraps

We watched Sean from 5ive essentially be a bit upsettingly emotionally damaged. We watched Blue fail to reach even the level of mediocrity that they displayed at Eurovision. We watched and we thought “this isn’t amazing at all. It’s tragic.”

Everybody’s favourite past-it boyband named after a colour, Blue have hitched their wonky-wheeled, broken-down metaphorical fame wagon to the glowing, ratings-grabbing, Tweet-provoking towbar of The Big Reunion. Even though they already reunited in 2009, and did Eurovision together in 2011, and haven’t techincally, er, un-united since. How do you reunite and already reunited bunch of people?
