What Celebrities Are Doing

We’ve just had a mini-office argument about how to pronounce Lauren Goodger’s name. Is it gud-yer or goojur? Do let us know. Anyway, as these people tend to do, Lauren has started an online business selling the kind of stuff you’d need if you wanted to look like Lauren Goodger. And who doesn’t want to look like Lauren Goodger? Except perhaps our mum. And some of her friends. And the woman who lives over the road. And… you get the idea with that. Anyway, the online eyelash shop is called Lauren’s Way. Is that a pun or something? We can’t work it out.

The last few times we’ve seen failed actress Tara Reid, she’s been wandering around various capital cities with those weird-as-shit manchildren Jedward. On the plus side, when she’s with them she seems happier and possibly a little less likely to break down into a milky puddle of Prozac and botox – although that’s probably because they never talk to her about anything more taxing than what colour plasticine she most likes eating.

Unfortunately this simply makes it harder for her to reintegrate with people who don’t think it’s weird that wee doesn’t taste like lemons, and results in the kind of tantrum she recently threw in a New York branch of All Saints:

“She said she needed an outfit for Coachella. She demanded a discount, because of her fame. [She then] began to scream at them and… she had to be escorted out by security. She seemed drunk.”

A celebrity throwing a strop in a clothes shop is nothing new, especially one as blatantly out of touch with reality as Tara, but it’s her press agent’s response that is the best thing about this whole story:

“Tara gets a huge discount with All Saints in the UK and Paris because she’s a walking billboard for them. She gets photographed . . . so they give her huge hookups. We told them we get a discount, and they said they’d email the press team.”

“Tara didn’t think it made sense [that she would be denied a discount] and asked them to check again. She was definitely not drunk. People love to say Tara’s hammered and this and that . . . whoever is saying that is not on Team Tara,”

Why anyone would want to encourage Tara Reid to wear their clothes is beyond us, but we’re sure All Saints have their reasons. As for the idea that anyone’s on Team Tara aside from Tara and select family members…

There were so many celebrities in London last night that we had to cull a few of the regular folk to make way for the Big Name Surprise Guests – sorry, Laura Whitmore, lady from Hollyoaks and thingy from thingy, it turns out your loyalty meant nothing to us.

We were particularly pleased to see, in his own words, “one of the most recognised, highly regarded, critically acclaimed, and commercially valuable motion picture actors in the world”, Jude Law leaving his favourite place, the Grouchy Club. Grouchy is currently using the Law to sue a Canadian fireplace shop which has been using his image without permission – hence the above description being bandied about on legal paperwork. They’re definitely his Enemy At The Grate – boom.

Anyway, moving on, we also have Ashton Kutcher leaving Scott’s with his lovely pal Mila Kunis. When his cab isn’t waiting for him after pudding he shouts ‘DUDE, WHERE’S MY CAR?’ at the maitre d and it comes across quite agressively. It’s an awkward moment for everyone.

We also have a lot of celebrities such as Gemma Arterton, Liberty Ross (blah blah blah) and Matt smith carrying minature London Eyes. CELEBRITIES ARE WEIRD!

Elsewhere it was Russell Brand, Benedict Cumberbatch, Rick Edwards, Pixie Geldof and loads of other people. Oh, turns out Laura Whitmore slipped in after all.
