It’s almost here. Geordie Shore, the show that explores the true Newcastle, the one that made Cheryl the success she is today, is finally on our screens. There’s been a few dissidents who’ve voiced the opinion that in this country we’re already overloaded with TV programmes that exploit self-assured fuckwits, and any additional ones are simply jumping on a bandwagon so densely packed with brain-rotting guff it should theoretically have collapsed into a Dr Brian Cox-hole many moons ago.

Not us though, we love them.
