The above pictures are from the set of the new Spider-Man film, in which Jamie Foxx plays general naughty man Electro, A MAN WHO CAN SPEAK TO ANIMALS!

Oh what a joke. His special power is of course electricity based, and has nothing to do with animals at all. However he power to overcome prejudice is another matter entirely, given that he’s essentially dressing up in blueface, something many of us gollum-like celebrity journalists find hugely offensive (or at least we would if we could leave the basement).

Imagine the dread that I felt when I heard about the release of a new Spider-Man game to coincide with the New film and that it wasn’t being made by Treyarch, who were once known for developing the brilliant Spider-Man 2, rather than Black Ops. However, the game was in fact developed by a small studio known as Beenox, who have been responsible for all of the more recent Spider-Man games, so they certainly have some working knowledge of how to make a game about the wall-crawler.
