Without a doubt last December’s claim that Fred Talbot is a member of the I Love Sexy Kids club was the most surprising of all the light entertainers currently under investigation for noncing. Sure, he looks like the kind of guy who’d offer your kids a lift home in his rapevan, but that’s only because – thanks to the Daily Mail and Jimmy Savile – all white haired men over 50 now look like paedophiles.

The original complaints against Talbot were from three separate sources, all stating that he had been touching up his pupils while a Biology teacher at Altrincham Boys Grammar School for Boys back in the 1970s. 

However, while it was just his house that was searched in December, police have now actively decided to move onto SEARCHING FRED’S MIND for clues, and have now ARRESTED HIM on suspicion of three counts of indecent assault and four counts of inciting a child to commit acts of gross indecency.

Here’s what the police had to say:

“The offences relate to his time as a teacher at the school between the early 1970s to early 1980s, while the four victims were pupils.”

“Since allegations were made to police in December we have made good progress with this investigation and with tracing and speaking to former pupils of Altrincham Grammar school.

“However, as part of our ongoing enquiry I am eager to trace anyone who attended the school between the early 1970s and 1980s, who feel they may have information to assist the police investigation.”
