CL&P: In Monroe, 97% of customers are without power as of 4:25 p.m. Sunday

Connecticut Light & Power is reporting 97% of customers in Monroe are without power as of 4:25 p.m. Sunday, due to the major snowstorm that hit the region on late Saturday. According to the CL&P Web site, 7,669 of 7,905 customers in Monroe lack electricity. Earlier in the day, the company had reported all 7,905 customers in town lacked electricity.
