Given that her firing was all but confirmed weeeeeeeeks ago, and rumours of her staying seemed shaky at best, it’s not exactly news. If you’d asked us the other day what would most excite and delight millions, nay billions of 12 year old girls, we would have said it was a toss-up between One Direction covering the song from Titanic and Justin Bieber doing a photoshoot in which he is entirely surrounded by kittens. Glamour have named Kristen Stewart as the Best Dressed Woman in the World for the second year in a row. Predictably, some people are squawking about how she never smiles and she has messy hair and she can’t even act and blah blah blah. So we’d like to take this opportunity to say that actually Kristen is pretty bloody well-dressed, actually.

BritWeek was thought up by a bunch of ex-pats in California in an attempt to promote the UK in America back after the rift caused by the War of Independence in the late 18th century. As you can see from the above gallery though, what it actually does is give Samantha Mumba and Nigel Lythgoe a reason to leave the house and old James Bond actors a chance to meet people who’ll ask them if they are old James Bond actors.

You’ll notice there aren’t any genuineley famous Brits in any of the above pictures, because…well…actually we have no idea. Maybe Freddie Windsor drove them away with his incredibly creepy demeanor.
